Job Title: Security Guard (Part-time)

Location: LaMarr Civic Center, Eufaula, AL

Salary: $20/hr.

Experience: At least 3 years’ experience

Responsibilities:

• Expected to stand/walk for extended periods of time to secure the perimeter and interior of building and grounds.
• Secure all entrances and exits of the venue.
• Greet all guests with a friendly smile and professional tones, and assure the guest is having a great customer experience.
• May be required to notify police, fire department or emergency medical services of problems if requested or otherwise warranted.
• Observe and report matters of concern to team leaders and complete incident reports as necessary.
• Follow directives of Event Staff Team Leaders
• Assist with management of traffic flow onto and off of property grounds

Skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as security guard
• Proven experience as a security guard or similar role is a plus
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle conflicts and difficult situations calmly and professionally.
