Job Title: Jr. Event Staffer (Part-Time)

Location: LaMarr Civic Center, Eufaula, AL

Salary: $10.00/hr.

Experience: At least 1 years’ experience

Responsibilities:

• Exceptional customer service and hospitality skills
• Friendly to all guests.
• Set tables completely according to diagram and/or sample table.
• Set buffet stations which may include décor.
• Set up tables and chairs in event spaces and the breakdown of event spaces.
• Unload/load event trucks.
• Assist catering company with food delivery, kitchen set-up, and plate preparation.
• Event set up and break down as appropriate.
• Coordinate logistics with vendors in advance to ensure quality.
• Serve and clear food and beverage using proper serving and clearing techniques.
• Wear company uniform and maintain good grooming and personal hygiene.
• Varying schedule to include evenings, weekends, holidays and extended hours as needed.
• Organize facilities including audio-visual, décor placement, on-site catering oversight.
• Event set up and break down as appropriate.
• Coordinate logistics with vendors in advance to ensure quality.
• Work as part of a team.
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum two years of server experience preferred
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Positive interpersonal skills
